Anna Steele is the founder and owner of Bend Hair Co. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Anna relocated to Bend in 2019 with a dream of creating a beautiful salon experience for both clients and stylists. That dream became a reality when she opened Bend Hair Co. in December 2019.

With over 18 years of experience behind the chair, Anna specializes in custom blonding, lived-in color, and natural-looking balayage. She is also certified in tape-in extensions and hand-tied wefts, allowing her to create seamless, personalized transformations for her guests. Known for her attention to detail and commitment to maintaining healthy hair, Anna is passionate about helping her clients achieve effortless, beautiful results that fit their lifestyle.

As a salon owner, Anna is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inspiring environment for her team. She has a deep passion for education and believes that continuous learning is essential to elevating both the guest experience and the beauty industry as a whole.

When she's not in the salon, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and French Bulldogs. She loves traveling, exploring new places, and embracing the outdoor lifestyle that makes Central Oregon such a special place to call home.

With over 15 years of experience behind the chair, she has found her true passion in extension transformations and creating beautiful, lived-in color. She is dedicated to helping women feel confident, empowered, and like the very best version of themselves by achieving the hair they've always dreamed of.

Originally from Texas, she has proudly called Bend home for more than eight years. Like many who fall in love with Central Oregon, she was drawn to the area's slower pace of life, strong sense of community, and endless outdoor adventures. The natural beauty of the region continues to inspire both her personal life and creative work behind the chair.

When she's not in the salon, you'll likely find her exploring the outdoors with her pup—whether that's snowboarding in the winter, paddleboarding in the summer, or hiking the trails that make Central Oregon such a special place to live.

Ayla grew up in the mountains of Wyoming, just minutes from Grand Teton & Yellowstone Park. The stunning natural beauty of her hometown is a major source of inspiration in the way she approaches her craft. Ayla specializes in specialty blonding including: shiny blended highlights, color melts, natural sun-kissed looks, and hand-painted effects. Ayla is super passionate about scalp and hair health and has created a luxurious scalp treatment she knows you will love. In her opinion, the health and integrity of the hair and scalp is always the most important factor in delivering a beautiful result. Ayla is also skilled in delivering a polished bouncy blowout. Ayla has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2006. She has been licensed in Washington, Wyoming, and now Oregon.

When she isn’t working behind the chair, you can find her spending time with her husband, daughter, and Boston Terrier, Mochi. She loves cooking, hiking, camping, and enjoying all that Central Oregon has to offer.
